Tree Services in Athens, GA
Rooted in the Classic City, Caring for Its Trees
Athens takes its trees seriously. Don’t believe us? This is the home of the Tree That Owns Itself, the famous white oak on Dearing Street that, according to local legend, was deeded ownership of itself and the surrounding land, and the city has long been recognized as a Tree City USA community. That kind of serious history deserves a tree crew that takes tree care seriously, and is dedicated to doing more than just cutting things down. We handle the whole life of a tree, from planting and transplanting to trimming, removal, and stump grinding, so your yard gets thoughtful tree care in Athens, GA, at every stage.
To Do Land Management LLC is owner-operated by Devonte Upshaw, who brings 17 years in the field to every job. We’ve been locally owned since 2020, and based in nearby Bogart, we know the red clay, the summer storms, and the towering oaks and pines that define this area. Every job starts with a free estimate and a straight answer about what your trees actually need.
From Single Trees to Whole Acres, We Deliver Everything Your Trees and Land Need
Whether you need one hazardous oak taken down or a wooded lot opened up for a new home, our tree services in Athens, GA, cover it all:
Tree Removal
Dead, leaning, or storm-weakened trees are a risk to your home and family. We take them down in controlled sections to protect your roof, fences, and landscaping.
Tree Trimming & Pruning
Routine trimming keeps mature trees healthy and clear of rooflines. Our tree care in Athens, GA, also includes crown reduction and canopy raising for larger trees.
Stump Grinding
We grind leftover stumps below ground level so you can replant, reseed, or simply mow without working around an old stump ever again.
Brush Clearing
Privet, kudzu, and thick undergrowth take over fast here. We clear them out while leaving your healthy trees standing.
Land Clearing
From saplings to fallen timber, we clear lots and small acreage so you can finally put that land to use.
Site Preparation
Building soon? We take your lot from cleared to build-ready so your builder can get started.
Land Grading
Grading levels the ground and improves drainage ahead of construction, sod, or hardscaping.
Crane Tree Removal
For oversized trees or those wedged close to the house, crane-assisted removal lifts sections up and away instead of dropping them.
Commercial Tree Services
Property managers, builders, and business owners rely on us for removal, trimming, and clearing that keeps commercial sites safe and professional.
Emergency Tree Services
When a storm drops a tree on your roof or across your driveway, our emergency tree services in Athens, GA, help you get your property safe and accessible again.
Right-of-Way Clearing
We clear easements, access roads, fence lines, and property lines so people and equipment can get where they need to go.
Forestry Mulching
Our mulcher grinds brush and small trees into mulch on the spot, clearing land with no hauling or burn piles and leaving a layer that protects the soil.
